Richard Barnwell has been a Mawsley Parish Councillor since its inception in 2004 and has been Vice Chairman and Chairman twice during this time.

Mawsley was entirely built on land owned by the Barnwell family and it was Richard's vision to site the Village in its location.

Richard is an Auctioneer/Farmer and Is Married to Beverly.

Richard is one of the 2 Farmers who farms the land surrounding the Village, which is within the Parish Boundary of Mawsley.
