Cllr Wheeler wrote the following bio -

My business career commenced in 1954 serving 5 years as Apprentice Stationer with an Edinburgh based business. Following completion, I broadened experience in all aspects of paper and its conversion. In 1966 joined an international paper company and was based in Scotland. Eventually moved to Wells, Somerset, to take over the Deep-Sea Export business. Relocated to Moulton, Northamptonshire in 1985 following take-over by an American concern and eventually made redundant so established my own export business to assist UK Paper Mills gain export business. In 1996 we were awarded The Queens's Award for Export Achievement; the smallest company at that time: 4 people with turnover of over £4million. I retired in 2004, and after living in France for 10 years, in 2019 we moved to Mawsley, relieved that foreign travel for business was behind me! Mawsley village is quiet and peaceful, and I wish to play my part to ensure that this will continue to be a haven for all residents!
